Designing for the communications team I had to work across 4 social media accounts. We had to make sure we find a balance on what we shed light on. Showcasing client work, employee life, and even helping other non BUCK artists with advice and or exposure.
︎︎︎ BUCK Careers | Design System
BUCK Careers is a joint effort from the HR department and the communication’s team.
Built in order to create a sense of community in the industry. Ranging from Tips, Job postings, Employee and department spotlights. My job was to create a simple yet striking identity that focuses on the messaging as clearly as possible - to gaige the attention of many and staying straightforward. The identity I created takes the BUCK palette and expanding it to tailor to the onscreen clarity of the messaging. Using clean thick shapes and simple type to draw attention to the messaging in each post. The system is created in a way that can be used for all types of posts while keeping an easy interchagibility and variety in the visual.
︎︎︎ Banter with BUCK | Identity
Banter with BUCK is a podcast aiming to discuss interesting topics in the creative industry with important guest speakers. My job was to create the logo and expand on the identity and create interesting shapes with the help of Creative Director Yker Moreno. The identity is a modular being able to change the name of the speaker + shape + color to create a variety of artworks. Spreading the word on social resulted in us pulling the most striking quotes to share. To loop it with BUCKS animation spirit I worked with animators to art direct how this identity moves.
︎︎︎ AAPI Heritage Month | Artist Spotlight
AAPI heritage month was a special project to work on. My job was to create a fun and exciting ways to spotlight the super talented folk at BUCK. I created a set of compositions that can be swapped, an interchangeable color palette, and straight to the point yet energetic layout.
︎︎︎ Black History Month | Influential Artist Spotlight
Black History Month celebration meant choosing some influential artists that left a mark in todays culture. My job was to create a way to showcase these artists and use their powerful words to spread their messaging in the art world. Each shape I created in the posts were inspired by a subtle element from the artists work, as well as the color palette. That choice was made because of the emotional and human nature of this celebration.
